Publisher Description

Nothing interesting ever happened in the small, eastern Washington wheat town of Antioch - until now. Without warning, Antioch has suddenly become a gateway for the supernatural - from sightings of angels and messianic images materializing in the sky to a weeping crucifix with the power to heal.

Yet these miracles are only the beginning of something much bigger: the return of the Messiah as prophesied in the Bible. Then a self-proclaimed prophet mysteriously appears at a local ranch with a message - but is it a message from God?

In search of answers and hungry for miracles, the national media - along with the curious - flock in droves to the all-but-forgotten town. The startling secret behind this visitation ultimately pushes one man into a supernatural confrontation that will forever alter the lives of everyone involved.

"Frank E Peretti is one of my favorite authors and didn't disappoint me with this one. He confused me a few times but I was willing to keep up due to the sheer suspense in this book. We as the body of Christ need to be able to recognize false teachings; Here in this book you'll find a dramatic tale about such a deception!"

" Perfect book for recovering Pentecostal Christians. If you've never been victimized by "God's Chosen," you probably won't fully comprehend the horror that is this book. It's informative for outsiders, however, you have been warned. "

" I'm a huge Frank Peretti fan, so it was no surprise that this was yet another great read from him. I gave this book 4 stars since I didn't have the connection with the characters that I had in Monster or Oath... Other than that, I loved the book and found it to be a quick read that was hard to put down. "
