About the Authors
Yoon Ha Lee is the author of several critically acclaimed short stories and Locus Award–winning novels of the Machineries of Empire trilogy. He draws inspiration from a variety of sources, e.g. Korean history and mythology, fairy tales, higher mathematics, classic moral dilemmas, and genre fiction.
Becky Chambers is a science fiction author best known for her Hugo Award-winning Wayfarers series. Her books have also been nominated for the Arthur C. Clarke Award, the Locus Award, and the Women’s Prize for Fiction, among others. She has a background in performing arts and grew up in a family heavily involved in space science.
Rivers Solomon is the author of An Unkindness of Ghosts and has twice been a finalist for the John W. Campbell Award for Best New Writer. Rivers Solomon graduated from Stanford University with a degree in comparative studies in race and ethnicity and holds an MFA in fiction from the Michener Center for Writers.
S. L. Huang writes fantasy novels that have won the Hugo Award and been a finalist for the Nebula Award. Her short fiction has appeared in Strange Horizons, Nature, Daily Science Fiction,Tor.com, and more, including numerous best-of anthologies. She is a Hollywood stunt performer and firearms expert with a math degree from MIT and credits in productions like Battlestar Galactica and Top Shot.
About Robin Miles
Robin Miles, named a Golden Voice by AudioFile magazine, has twice won the prestigious Audie Award for Best Narration, an Audie Award for directing, and many Earphones Awards. Her film and television acting credits include The Last Days of Disco, Primary Colors, Law & Order: Criminal Intent, Law & Order, New York Undercover, National Geographic’s Tales from the Wild, All My Children, and One Life to Live. She regularly gives seminars to members of SAG and AFTRA actors’ unions, and in 2005 she started Narration Arts Workshop in New York City, offering audiobook recording classes and coaching. She holds a BA degree in theater studies from Yale University, an MFA in acting from the Yale School of Drama, and a certificate from the British American Drama Academy in England.
