Publisher Description

The evening begins like many others. Lionel falls asleep while listening to his uncle tell stories. Ryan stays up reading and listening to music. Vicki goes out smoking pot with her friends. And Judd, tired of being told what to do, takes his father's credit card and heads to the airport in search of freedom. But in one shocking moment, everything changes. All over the world, millions of people suddenly vanish. Driverless cars crash on the highways, and planes fall through the sky without pilots. Each of the four kids soon discovers friends and family members missing. Will they be able to learn the truth behind the disappearances?Authors Jerry B. Jenkins and Tim LaHaye base this thriller on Left Behind, their riveting book that has topped best-seller lists across the country and captured the attention of Hollywood producers. Narrator Scott Shina vividly portrays the "end times" through the eyes of the four young friends.

"Excellently done and match the kids series matches the adult series wonderfully. While I read the adult series, my son read the kids series. He's since read the adult series. They were as gripping as the adult series."

" I loved the plot, I am always a sucker for books about the Rapture. The language of the book is very very young, so that kind of left me wanting more, but I should have read the adult version for that I guess. Personally, I felt kind of creeped out by it all, and I thought about would I allow my child to read something like this... my answer was no! I felt like this would scare the hell out of most kids, but that is my opinion about it. I liked the book and I plan on reading all of the kid ones and then I iwll start the adult versions. "

" The series is ok. Not the best, I will never read it a second time, but it was worth one read. I'm sure part of the reason I wasn't so into it is that I read it as an adult. Kids would probably like it better. It has a really good message that everyone should hear. The adult series is really good, so I definitely recomend giving that a try. "

" Ugh. Sorry, not a fan. The setup is great-what happens when millions of children and adults suddenly vanish, and you're left behind? But the characters are one-dimensional, and the plot development unrealistic. PS They're not "Kids," they're Teens. "
