About Alphie McCourt
Alphie McCourt is the youngest of the McCourt brothers, who gained fame through works such as A Monk Swimming and the Pulitzer Prize–winning Angela’s Ashes. His writing has appeared in the Washington Post, the Villager, the Limerick Leader, and Irons Magazine. McCourt currently lives in New York City with his wife and daughter.
About the Narrators
Malachy McCourt (1931–2024) was born in Brooklyn, New York, but grew up in Limerick, Ireland. He returned to the United States at the age of twenty and worked at many odd jobs before turning to acting and writing.
Jack O’Connell is the author of
several acclaimed novels. He has been described as a cyberpunk Dashiell
Hammett. His dark, noir-ish crime stories are dragging the crime genre into new
realms. He lives in Wooster, Massachusetts, with his wife and two children.
Suehyla El-Attar Young is an actress and writer based in Atlanta, Georgia. She dabbled in radio for a bit, working with several well-known stations as a morning news personality and DJ. Eventually, she returned to acting, on stage and in film. She has nurtured both crafts of acting and writing, working with local companies such as Theatre du Reve, Synchronicity Theatre, the Alliance Theatre Company, and Horizon Theatre Company as dramaturge, actress, and playwright on several projects.
