About Sally Page

Sally Page is the author of The Keeper of Stories, which has sold over 550,000 copies in English. After studying history at university, Sally moved to London to work in advertising. In her spare time, she studied floristry, eventually opening her own flower shop. Her floristry experience offered a unique window into people’s lives, and she began to photograph and write in a series of nonfiction books about how flowers mark life’s most important moments. She also founded a fountain pen company, Plooms.co.uk.

In The Secrets of Flowers, Sally combines her love of history and flowers with her abiding interest in the stories people have to tell. Sally now lives in Dorset. Her eldest daughter, Alex, is a doctor, and her youngest daughter is the author Libby Page. Sally’s next novel, The Book of Beginnings, will be published by Blackstone early next year.
