"I read this book as a child and have since read it several times. There's something about it that is so enchanting and mysterious. I love the development of the relationship between the two children, and the author's ability to capture the isolation of the setting and the situation and, later, the hopefulness of a better life. It's a touching story and one that I will definitely read again."

" Re-reading old classics. Secret Garden was not one of my favs, but I wanted to give it another chance. I'm glad I did. This is really a feel-good book, probably more for what we used to call the 'children's bedtime stories.' Still great stories, still out there. "
