The Yeerks are closing in. They've finally figured out where the kids have been hiding out. And they plan to do something about it. To get rid of "The Andalite bandits." So they've found a way to set up a fake logging site. And, under Visser Three's orders, every tree and animal in site is to be destroyed.Now it's up to Cassie, Marco, Jake, Rachel, Tobias, and Ax to stop the destruction. The forest behind Cassie's barn is where Ax and Tobias live. Tobias could survive in another forest. But it wouldn't be anywhere near the other Animorphs. And there just isn't anywhere else for Ax to go without being discovered. So there's no other choice but to fight.The battle's not an easy one. The kids have to acquire termite morphs in order to infiltrate the main building in the logging camp, which is surrounded by a force field. The problem with the termite morph is that it is very close to the ant morph. A morph the kids all swore they would never use again. But there's no choice. And they barely make it out alive.But in the end, Cassie and the others manage to outsmart Visser Three with a very cool (and very stinky) new morph. A skunk.. And it's not over yet. But the Animorphs haven't given up. Not just yet....
