"I greatly enjoyed this new edition of The No. 1 Ladies Detective Agency series. I love them all. Oddly, I have tried McCall-Smith's other series and not been able to get into them. I think the Ladies Detective Agency books are 'Southern' in tone and thus my cup of tea, so to speak. "
