"Mma Ramotswe takes on another variety of intriguing cases, including helping a man whose stupidity has led to his being bilked out of a considerable sum of money; tracking down a beneficiary, who has been left a legacy by an American tourist; and on a more personal level, helping Grace winkle her poor fiance Phuti, a new amputee, out from his terrible aunt's care. As usual, spending time with these marvelous characters is like slowing down to enjoy a cup of red bush tea. Lovely!"

" I like these books a lot. They are light, but they are full of goodness and the flavor of Botswana. In this one, the detectives must locate a safari guide who has inherited some money... but no one knows his name or the camp he was in, The clues are few, but the ladies come through in the end. In the meantime, a marriage is saved and the niceties of drinking pots of tea are appreciated. "
