About Neville Goddard

Neville Goddard (1905–1972) was an influential metaphysics teacher and New Thought author. While touring with an American dance company in England, he developed an interest in metaphysics after reading a series of books on the power of the mind. Upon returning to the United States, he left the entertainment industry and devoted himself solely to metaphysics. Using the solitary pen name Neville, he became one of the twentieth century’s most articulate and charismatic purveyors of New Thought philosophy. The impact of his ideas continues to be felt in some of today’s bestselling works of practical spirituality.
