About Judy Sierra

Judy Sierra is the author of more than thirty books for children, and several more for adults. She earned a PhD in folklore and mythology from UCLA. Her original tales in rhyme and her anthologies of folktales have received accolades including the International Reading Association/Children’s Book Council Children’s Choice Award, the American Folklore Society’s Aesop Prize, and the Association of Booksellers for Children’s E.B.
