Publisher Description

Award-winning author Susan Carroll captivates critics and fans with her haunting, magical romances. Such accomplished peers as Nora Roberts and Iris Johansen offer high praise for her unforgettable characters and riveting plots.

Returning from the Battle of Waterloo, Lance Leger is heir to the family castle on the Cornish coast, a burden that weighs heavily on such a scoundrel as he. Gifted with supernatural powers, he can separate his soul from his body to go night drifting.

When the family icon, a magnificent ancient sword, is stolen, he uses his power to search for it. Drifting through the walls of the village inn, he surprises Rosalind, a beautiful young widow. For both of them, it's love at first sight.

He has a problem, though: she's convinced that he's the ghost of Sir Lancelot. And she can't abide the arrogance of the real Lance Leger.

The charming and versatile Barbara Rosenblat sets the perfect tone for this magical, atmospheric romance. As Lance strives to win Rosalind's heart, listeners are swept along in a spellbinding combination of passion, mist, and moonlight.

"Such an interesting concept - night drifting. But really inventive. I love the Camolot subplot to this story. She is so dazzled by the ghost of Lancelot that it makes this book fun to read. (Again, you'll have to skip a couple pages.)"

" Book was good. I guess I am used to a different style of PNR. May have helped if I had actually read The bride finder first. DUH!!! "

" This is the second book in the series and I really enjoyed it. Like I said before, this is a paranormal series but I thought I am getting more used to it and it is definitely a different idea. I like it. "

" A young widow falls in love with Lance St. Leger who magically appears to her as a ghost in the night. This book was good, but I loved "The Bride Finder", first book in this series... "

" One of those guilty pleasures. Ultimately, this series is kind of cheesy, but the fact remains that I finished the book the same day I picked it up. So it's got something going for it. "

" Okay, I probably enjoyed this one more than I should have. I knew ahead of time, though, that I would have to skip a couple of parts. I'm not sure how graphic they got, I just skipped ahead when it started to get iffy for me. So, not exactly clean, but a fun story! "
