Mike White wrote the screenplay for the film School of Rock, about a failed rock musician who pretends to be a substitute teacher. His other film credits include the award-winning Chuck & Buck, in which he also starred, The Good Girl, and Orange County. His next film project, Nacho Libre, which stars Jack Black and is being directed by Jared Hess, begins shooting this fall.
