"It is a great short story. One of the best that I have ever read. It is really exciting the moment that Rainsford stepped onto the island. As soon as he meets General Zaroff, the chase is on. Rainsford is running for his life to get his freedom back, or his life taken. I love it being in 3rd person, to see his perspective and more. Even though the ending is a bit uneventful, the story itself is amazing. To hunt, or be hunted."

" I'm (re)visiting some classics in 2012. I felt like this story was on fast forward, like the author didn't take his time telling the story, only focusing on the good parts, and even the good parts were hurried through. There's SO much more to tell and can be told! Also, what happened to Whitney? "
