Publisher Description

The Man with No Face is coming.   CSI Darby McCormick find an emaciated, terrified woman hiding in the shadows of a crime scene. A DNA search reveals the woman was abducted five years ago and, somehow, she’s escaped the dungeon in which she was caged. With a teenage girl also missing, Darby knows the clock is ticking and this woman is their only lead. But what she doesn’t know is that this is a serial killer who has been prowling America for decades. A killer who Darby knows. The Man with No Face. Once, long ago, he tore her life apart. Now he wants to finish the job.   “Scare story, scary talent. I love this book.”—Lee Child   “I devoured The Missing in one greedy, breathless sitting. This is a scary, breakneck ride with thrills that never let up.”—Tess Gerritsen   “The Missing is an absolutely gripping mix of suspense and mystery . . . "I was EXTREMELY impressed with this book. I'm usually pretty good at figuring out who the killer is and what's going on in these kinds of books but this one had a great twist at the end that left me shocked. I read it in a day simply because I just HAD to see how it was going to end. If you're looking for a thriller that will keep you guessing,I definately recommend this one!"

" Definitely got roped into the story and finished it in one night. It's not a revolutionary work of fiction, but it's a quick, original read. "

" I had read Remembering Sarah and was very impressed with this author so I checked out another of his books. Although this held my interest, I figured out the bad guy early on. There was something revealed at the end that I hadn't figured out although there was a clue that hinted at something involving this person. The editing of the book distracted me throughout because there were more errors than I've ever seen in a book. "
