On one level The Marriage Code is a fun, rom-com jaunt from Seattle to India. On another, deeper level, this story is filled with the push and pull of family and cultural expectations. Of the realities of modern cross-cultural love and the obstacles that may seem insurmountable at times. I love books set in India, I love stories that open a window into an aspect of a culture I would not have otherwise experienced—I loved The Marriage Code.
