" Just horrible. Save your money. This book reveals nothing new but merely criticizes other biographies and autobiographies. I could not even force myself to finish reading it. "

" Great book about Johnny Cash - I thought it was a balanced account about a man with almost as many failings as he had gifts and talents. In my opinion a redemptive story about an artist who wrestled with his faith, his demons and his desire to keep his integrity. I really enjoyed this one. "

" Not the most entertaining read due to author's relentless attention to detail but Cash's life story is a drama worth reading for sure. If you want to know all you can about the highs and lows of his life then look no further but there may be a punchier version out there somewhere... "

" I became a fan of Johnny Cash after reading this book. "
