"Friendship, travel, grief and life choices woven together into a quick read. It is ocassionally straining credulity but never unkind. I enjoyed it and its positive message. I plan to encourage my mom to read it - and I won't be embarrassed."

" A solid summer read for 2.99 on kindle special! "
— Erica, 2/20/2014" This was a story about four very different characters that due to very unusual circumstances find themselves together on a long road trip. I was able to see a little bit of myself in each character. For not knowing each other at all it was unusual for them to take off together on a road trip. A little unbelievable to me that this would happen at all in real life. But as the trip progressed they all became friends and they fed off of each others differences and learned something about themselves and each other. A fun and interesting read but not good enough to pick for my choice as it is my annual pick for book club. Oprah chose this book for a must read for this summer. I enjoyed it but wouldn't classify it as a "must read". "
— Cindy, 2/16/2014" Light entertaining read. Some days this is just exactly right. "
— Gayle, 2/15/2014" Light and fun summer read. Brings back memories of road trip fun! "
— Meredith, 2/14/2014" I must say that I enjoyed this novel. The story drew me in from the start and the four main characters were ladies with whom I enjoyed spending time. However, the events in the story were a bit difficult to believe and a little far fetched. "
— Margaret, 2/14/2014" This book was interesting, but certainly didn't "wow" me. It all seemed a bit too impossible, and all the psychic stuff made me roll my eyes. Was enough to keep me occupied for a plane ride, but wouldn't read again. "
— Lena, 2/9/2014" Loved it!!!!!!!!!! that's all i have to say for it. "
— Prabh, 2/6/2014" If you're looking for an easy read that will keep you interested, then this book will do it. Nevertheless, I found myself rolling my eyes several times throughout this book due to its annoying cliches and "twists of fate." The supernatural plays a big part in the story, which I didn't expect and could have done without. Also, I just noticed the author's name is Karen McQuestion. Question mark? "
— Katy, 2/2/2014" A pleasant, positive, fun read. The ending was a little too tidy, but the journey is what the book is all about, anyway. "
— Trish, 1/27/2014" This book is begging to be made into a Lifetime movie. Very much chick lit territory. Still, if you want a light and fluffy female oriented read, it is a good one. Strong, if slightly stereotypical, characters, decent plot, everything wrapped up at the end. "
— Amber, 1/13/2014" It was a fun book to read. A group of 4 ladies of varied ages go on a road trip. I definitely don't believe in psychics, which the youngest gal was, but it was a good "girl" book. Clean. "
— Sherry, 1/12/2014" The characters in this book appeared in my mind as the Golden Girls! A fun, light read. Predictable, but nicely done. "
— Mandy, 1/3/2014" Loved it! I can definitely see this book being made in to a movie. "
— Jennifer, 12/20/2013" Cute story, but predictable. Loved that part of it took place in Wisconsin! "
— Ninon, 12/17/2013" I enjoyed reading this book and liked the idea it gave that everything happens for a reason, even the bad things. i was entertained and felt good about the predictable ending. sometimes I like it when things end up the way they were supposed to, even if it is completely predictable. "
— Stacy, 11/20/2013" I thought it was going to be much better than it was. I was disappointed, and I can't remember why I chose it in the first place! Didn't care about the characters, which was pretty essential if you want to like this book. "
— Holly, 11/18/2013" Contrived and just not compelling. Needed more depth. "
— Teresa, 11/17/2013" I enjoyed this book. It was worth reading. A story that holds your interest, like a good lifetime movie. I have to say its not a exciting novel but heartfelt and a quick read. While reading it I would think of the ladies while doing my day to day. "
— Stephanie, 11/16/2013" This book was far fetched and shallow. Characters were one dimensional and not that likable. It wasn't really touching or very funny. I wouldn't bother. "
— Ajjmramos, 11/15/2013" I was immediately drawn into the characters in the first chapter. Great story about a group of women traveling together. "
— Julie, 11/13/2013" Cute - fluffy, but cute. "
— Jessica, 6/26/2013" Ok, easy read, wasn't expecting the 6th sense thin, overall I enjoyed it. "
— Dianne, 4/19/2013" A fun quick read....good break from all the murder I usually read! "
— Ellen, 2/7/2013" Not really my style but it was interesting to see the friendships span over all generations. "
— D, 12/10/2012" I was on the fence at first - it felt a little contrived. But as I got to know the characters and their background, I was eager to see how each one's story would play out. "
— Sharon, 12/5/2012" LOVED this book!!! Wonderful story about 4 strangers coming together and changing each others lives. I could totally see this as a movie. "
— Tara, 11/24/2012" Weak, not believable story line, 4 strangers take a road trip to regain a step son. "
— Sallie, 7/20/2012" Really enjoyed this book. Easy summer read and interesting characters. "
