"3.5 Stars. I am still reading the Sword of Truth series (currently on book 5) and this story is basically a contemporary/modern version of the same story--which is still fun and lovable! :-) I guess, why fix it if it isn't broken, right? "

" Read through this quickly and enjoyed however I wish I would have re-read the Sword of Truth series first. Although it can stand alone, there are references to events within the other series. This is not Terry Goodkind's best, but it's a solid story if you're a fan. It's based in current culture and not medieval fantasy so if you're looking for pure fantasy, this isn't the story for you.
