"Mermaids are one of my favourite mythical creatures. This is due to my absolute fascination with the ocean and love of scuba diving. I love being in water. Mermaids who can breathe underwater is my ultimate fantasy I'd love to be. In this anthology from Ms. Abe, we are treated to a lovely 3 stories regarding the island of Kell. Ms. Abe does another excellent job of weaving her spell over me. I'm captivated and left yearning to be a mermaid."

" I was pleasantly surprised with this book! I was sort of thinking it might be light on the story and heavy on the bodice ripping, but it was the opposite! I really enjoyed all the stories of the sirens of Kell but I think story #2 was my favorite. The writing was very magical and really brought me into the story. "

" I loved this book. There is 3 books total and all three stories were great. I was a little confused about characters in the last book, but Shana was nice enough to clear it up for me. "

" I placed a hold on this through my library, though I couldn't see the cover or the back very well on the website. It turned out to be a really bad romance novel, not the story about mermaids that I was hoping for. Luckily it was obvious from the first few pages, and I returned it quickly. "

" First story was terribly predictable, but the second was quite the page-turner, and the third had the most well-executed, understated plot-twist, so I give the book a happy 4 stars. "

" This book was one of those reads where I didn't mind reading multiple books at the same time. The stories were slow and somewhat enjoyable. I did struggle to read at times, overall it was OK. I wouldn't recommend this to people because it lacked depth...but had enough to not be an adult romance. "

" The first story is the best. It was really good. The others kind of petered off. I think they should have been developed as full length novels in their own right. Short stories didn't give her enough time to do them justice. "

" Duh. He was a descendant of the siren but she was the mermaid? I don't know why I do this to myself. But it's not like I'll stop. Trash novels have a certain appeal, even though they're... well, trash. "
