" I loved this book. It was really well written, I was drawn into it. I loved the tension between Eleanor and Stanton, it was really well done, and had a sense of rightness about it. My favourite book of Jensen's. "

" I love this book and the way in which the time (1540) is described. The heroine is inspirational, rebelling and confused... and the love interest is dashing. It is a thrilling romance that grabs attention and shocks all! I love it!!! "

" My younger sister didn't like this book so she gave it to me. I instantly thought this meant it was going to be childish and boring but I was pleasantly surprised. I was a fun read but still managed to be emotional. "

" A very good read, the men in the book are so enfuriating the way they make all the decisions and control people's lives. Eleanor is an interesting character and I like how she persists in rescuing her mother because of her love for her no matter what people try and convince her. "

" REALLY enjoyed this book!!! However I felt in some bits the author rushed the storyline a little, that is why it lost a star. Overall a must read , I couldn't leave it down!! I fell in love with Lord Stanton !!! xD "

" I can't decide whether this is better than Between Two Seas or not... It follows the same sort of story line but good none the less. The main character realises she has fallen in love, and a misunderstanding leads to them being separated. But I liked the happily ever after ending. "
