" Dull and Boring. "

" Initially I was not enthralled with this book. All I could think was another Narnia, another Inkheart, another book where children are trapped in another world. Then I started to like all the fairy tale allusions, but then that got too repetitive and cutesy for me. Finally I fell under Rodda's spell. What a wonderful book! "

" I read this mainly because I liked the idea of a world in a music box...not your typical doorway into another world. It's not the best book I've ever read, but it's not too bad either. "
-

" Brought it home for the kid with a few others... she chose another Warrior Cats ... so I took this one. I am really enjoying the adventure and magic, along with picking it apart as a writer working on my own YA project.
--Finished-- found it predictable but fun.
