Celia Graves was once an ordinary human, but those days are long gone. Now she strives to maintain her sanity and her soul while juggling both vampire abilities and the powers of a Siren. Warned of a magical "bomb" at a local elementary school, Celia forces an evacuation. Oddly, the explosion seems to have no effect, puzzling both Celia and the FBI. Two weeks later, a strangely persistent bruise on Celia's leg turns out to be the first sign of a magical zombie plague. Finding the source of the plague isn't Celia's only concern. Her alcoholic mother has broken out of prison on the Sirens' island; her little sister's ghost has possessed a young girl; and one of Celia's boyfriends, a powerful mage, has disappeared.

"Well we've dealt with vampires, sirens, demons and some other mythical creatures in between, so why not witches and zombies? This book dealt with a lot of the former and although it was pretty good and I'm loving the love triangle between Bruno DeLuca and John Creede. I really can't wait to see what the next book has to offer. Cat Adams has amazing talent, that is for sure!"

“Adams takes creepy to a whole new level with this intense and enthralling adventure in the latest Blood Singer novel. Celia’s relationships, romantic or not, continue to force her to grow in ways she never expected. UF doesn’t get much better than this!”
— RT Book Reviews (4½ stars, Top Pick!)The series continues to be fast and fun . . . with enough complexity in plot and characters to keep [fans] engaged from book to book.
— Booklist" Great evil plot and again with the kick butt girl! The guys are stepping up in here. Looking forward to seeing "who gets the girl" in the end. I like that they are both fighting instead of acting like jerks. Glad that they can work together too. Can't wait for the next book. "
— Jennifer, 2/20/2014" Love Celia Graves, but I wish she would pick Creede and get on with it already! The love triangle between Celia, Bruno, and Creede isn't working for me anymore. "
— Okie, 2/12/2014" Kept me entertained but kind of felt like they are running out of material with this book...the other three were just much better.. "

— Rebecca, 11/27/2013" I am really enjoying this series. Not that there is a lot new here for the genre, but a fun character, which is what I was looking for. Well done Ms. Adams. "
— Bob, 10/30/2013" Meeting a Goddess. fouling an crazy bitc* and going on dates. Normal things for an Abomination/Siren "
— Bert, 10/20/2013" I've really enjoyed all the books in this series so far. It kind of felt like there might have been a story in between this one and demon song though? I'm going to check into that. Anyway a fun read. Lots of action. Loved it. "
— Sherie, 9/19/2013" Book 4 in the series. I really enjoyed reading it. There is mystery, a bit of mythology, magic and even a small bit of family drama. It's a series I will keep in my bookcase, so I can re-read it again. This is the second time I have read it. :) "
— Brandy, 9/6/2013" What happened to that cliffhanger ending of Book 3, with Rizzoli at Christmas? Was that a short story or something? "
— Dan, 8/8/2013" I didn't realize this was part of a series at first. It's one that can be read without reading the others first, but now that I've finished it, I am definitely going to go backwards and start with number 1. "
— Ryse, 6/30/2013" Another really good installment. I like both of Celia's love interests and the friends that are loyal to her and her new awkward lifestyle--(half vampire/siren). Although she won't melt in the sun, the alternative is a really bad sunburn. Still can't get enough of the series. "
— Stinkerjo, 6/3/2013" Actually I would rate this 4 1/2 Stars. "
— Dolly, 4/21/2013" Isis is another good issue for Cat Adams, suspense & romance.I'm rooting for Creed. "
