After the sharp-eyed jay and the roaring lion, peace will come. . . .

Four warrior Clans have shared the land around the lake as equals for many moons. But a prophecy foretells that three ThunderClan cats will hold the power of the stars in their paws. Jayfeather and Lionblaze know that they are two of the cats in the prophecy. Now the brothers must wait for a sign from StarClan to discover the identity of the third cat.

Meanwhile, Dovekit and Ivykit—kin of the great leader Firestar—are poised to become ThunderClan apprentices. Soon one sister will have an ominous dream—and will begin to realize that she possesses mystical skills unmatched by any other cat.

In the midst of a cruel season that threatens the lives of all four warrior Clans, bonds will be forged, promises made, and three young cats will start to unravel the secrets that bind them together.

" In the beginning, the four clans- thunderclan, shadowclan, windclan, and riverclan are suffering from hot weather, lack of food and water. Then each clan sent 2 cats to explore why is the river not running. One of them, Dovepaw have this special power that she can sence farther than other cats can do. she senced that there are beavers and dams blocking the river. so they followed the river until they reached the place where beavers are. Then they fought the beavers and lost one of the cats. "

" The book dragged on for awhile, but I think what this books sets up for the rest of this series makes up for it. I have a good feeling about this series, and this was a good start to it. It might be as good as the first series of Warriors books. Tigerstar is coming back...a really good plot is heating up, and finally, the Warriors series will be as it once was: lots of mind-boggling deaths, power-hungry and revengeful cats, and many more secrets that will be revealed in unexpected ways in time.... "

" This was a very good book because of all the adventure the three cats are trying to find out more about the prophecy they find out that dovepa is the third cats to help with the prophecy she has the power to see far away and tell wats going on far far away this power helps them in the book because she sences what is bloking the stream and then tells lionbaze so that he can tell firestar so that he can send a group of cats to try to fix the blockage and send the water back to fill up the lake again when they finally acomplish this they are very happy to be home away from the beavers that can kill a cat very easily. " I preferred this to most of the books in the Power of Three arc, the narration from Dovepaw was less annoying than Jayfeather's, Hollyleafs, or Lionblazes and its always good to have a not-annoying protagonist. It felt more like the books in the first 2 arcs. "
