Here is a scripturally based blueprint for the woman who truly desires to be the wife God intended her to be.

This book is based on Proverbs 31:10: An excellent wife, who can find? For her worth is far above jewels. Thousands of women have already discovered the worth of this volume and testify to lives and marriages changed because of a commitment to the principles presented here. If this is a commitment you have made, or want to make, The Excellent Wife answers the difficult questions facing you today.

"I did this as a study with my church. I really loved it. In some ways it got repetitive, because the underlying theme seemed to be that we should turn negative thoughts and feelings into those that glorify God, and God will take care of the rest. Much of this book is hard to hear, but I have lived and witnessed many of the themes in this book, and believe she knows what she says. Some take the text to believe that she calls for women to be doormats, but I don't believe that to be the case; she wants us to be respectful and supportive of our husbands, and she guides us in how to approach them about their wrongdoings, should it be necessarily."

" The is the most thorough and practical and biblical book I have read on the subject. I have shared this book with many women and have taught the book several times to our college women. We have all benefited greatly from Martha Peace's insights. The book can be used as a handbook for being a wife and great to refer back to on particuar subjects when the occasion arises. "

" A sweet man gave this book to me on the first day we met in person. It was quite obvious that he was interested in pursuing me. I read the book and kept it for some time, but then I donated it. I learned that I need to keep working on my relationship with the Lord. A couple years earlier, another man suggested that I read it and I thought he was crazy. "

" Had a lot of good information. As typical with books based on scripture you have to look everything up because the author adds their own "interpretation" of doctrine. This was mostly noticed in the defining of the Trinity. But other than that it was spot on as far as the defining of a woman's role in the marriage and home. It is not drudgery to be a wife, but a blessing! Wish more women understood this. "
