About the Authors
Carl Weber is a New York Times bestselling novelist and the founder of the publishing company Urban Books. His works include The First Lady, So You Call Yourself a Man, The Preacher’s Son, Married Men, and the bestseller She Ain’t the One, which was cowritten with Mary B. Morrison. He was named the Blackboard Publisher of the Year in 2005 and owns a chain of bookstores called Urban Knowledge. A graduate of Virginia State University, he lives on Long Island with his family.
C. N. Phillips was born and raised in Omaha, Nebraska. She fell in love with books at the age of eight, but kept her writing a secret. It wasn’t until she became a single mother that she decided to pursue her dream of becoming an author.
About the Narrators
Award-winning actress Eliza Grace began her career at the early age of twelve from humble Midwestern beginnings. She grew up with a passion for the arts, graduating early to earn her BA in communications and English from the University of Wisconsin and the University of London.
