Carl Weber is the Essence and Blackboard best-selling author of Married Men. The hilarious story of four single black men in New York City, this novel takes the game of love from the playoffs through the finals. Kevin's got the good looks; Antoine's got the heart and soul; Tyrone's got the skills; and Maurice has all the heartless player moves-but not one of them has a good woman in their life (not counting their mommas). So what do they do? They call 1-900-BLACK-LUV, the ultimate African American date line of course! The outrageous experiences that follow-including dates with everyone from bible-thumpers and chicken heads, to gold diggers and soulmates(!)-have to be heard to be believed. This unflinching window into the erotic world of contemporary romance will leave mature listeners satisfied. An authentically voiced narration from Kevin R. Free ensures a laugh-out-loud good time. "Filled with entertainment . will have you laughing from the beginning to the end."-Kimberla Lawson Roby

"This is an oldie but goodie that I have read multiple times. It centers around 4 men who work at the same high school and are (as the name states) looking for love. The story that follows includes plenty of drama but comedy too. Without a doubt this book is an easy read that you'll enjoy. "

— Paige, 11/28/2013" I was so surprised finding an interest for this book which main character is guys... Reading this book somewhat make me think that there are still guys out there who find ways to get their woman back, and guys who will actually change for their love one. "
— Jesca, 8/31/2013" This is where my luv for books began "
— Kendell, 3/31/2013" Yet another good book. I liked Tyrone, he was so funny. He had a bad attitude, but in the end he changed and got to live his dream as a painter. Good read. "
— Monique, 1/23/2013" My 1st book that I read by him and I have been hooked every since "
— Rene, 10/30/2012" I have this book, but read some time ago, but I am a fan of all of carl weber books, all of them are good. "
— Corinne, 4/24/2012" Good solid book by Carl Weber but the back of it certain hyped up the drama to the point of me expecting more adventures. Was surprised that the one who "played" the most was the emotionally unavailable one. Nice quick read! "
— Vicci, 3/16/2012" For the most part, it was a good story... if you can get past the author's serious lack of sensitivity toward transsexuals and his disdain for interracial relationships. I, for one, am incensed by his attitude. This was my first and will be my last book by this author. "
— Heather, 10/7/2011" Ok story. A little long for me. It was an ok read. The villain was the most interesting character. "
— Ta, 5/9/2011" Giving this 4 stars when it really deserves like 3.5. It's an okay read, full of details and kinda slow at some points. It was a good audiobook, but in physical form, I probably wouldn't have finished it. "
— Gertrude, 3/23/2011" One of my favorite authors and this was a good debut book "

— Corinne, 2/28/2009" Kept my interest, but in the end, seemed like a churned-out romance novel "
— Suzy, 2/3/2009" Looking for a real book

NOT AGAIN! Okay yes it was semi funny!!! But it was so soft and so predictable it was like an episode of The Jerry Springer show. "
— Nardsbaby, 1/6/2009" Yet another good book. I liked Tyrone, he was so funny. He had a bad attitude, but in the end he changed and got to live his dream as a painter. Good read. "
