Sean never asked to be an O'Hara, and he didn't ask to be cursed by one, either.
After inheriting a hexed druid stone from his great-grandfather, Sean starts reliving another man's torture and death...every single night. And only one person can help.
Cormac Kelly runs a paranormal investigation business and doesn't have time to deal with misinformed tourists like Sean. But Sean has real magic in his pocket, and even though Cormac is a descendant of legendary druids, he soon finds himself out of his depth...and not because Sean's the first man he's felt anything for in a long time.
The pair develop an unexpected and intensely sexual bond, but are threatened at every turn when Sean's case attracts the unwelcome attention of the mad sidhe lords of ancient Ireland. When Sean and Cormac are thrust backward in time to Ireland's violent history - and their own dark pasts - they must work together to escape the curse and save their fragile relationship.

"Must read for a frivolous fun fill few hours. Full of snark, wit, silliness. Atticus is the last (bad ass) Druid and has an Irish wolfhound he talks to telepathically. He drinks beers with Jesus and ponders that it would have been interesting if Star Trek had been a religion. Equal parts geek and bad ass. It's not all fun and games, there are some dark bits. He does slay some serious figures from history and struggles while friends and new acquaintences have to deal with the consequences of his actions. Witches, Gods, Demons, Werewolves, Vampires, Elementals, the old lady down the street. He does have Shakespeare quote wars with his vampire lawyer while in the midst of a mele. Great language. I haven't had to put down my book to look up a word in years! Good job, Kevin Hearne!" — Moksha09 (4 out of 5 stars)

" This is such a great series for the paranormal/urban fantasy fan. "
" 1/16/13 ** Escapism...a good blend of mythology and the modern world. Think Percy Jackson with Celtic mythology and some of Sookie Stackhouse's friends. An adult book, probably, but easily a crossover for YA. "
" One of the best books I've read in awhile. It had everything I enjoy in a first person, urban fantasy story: humor, action, sexy characters and fun magic. Hexed, is definitely in my favorites! "
" I really enjoyed this book. The author did a great job setting the stage and explaining his universe. The central character was fun and the supporting cast was great. It is a great summer or vacation read. "
" With "Hexed", the series really gets into the flow of the story. One begins to really get to know the protagonist and the other people living in the Iron Druid world. Slowly personalities begin to form beyond their role for the story and more and more of the Lore is introduced. The story also picks up pace and one can't wait for the next book. "
" I may have to quit doing these on audio. First the Spanish music (when the main character is Irish) and now the narrator is using a southern hick accent for a Native American character. Really? Does anybody do quality control on these things? Another thing that annoys me is that most of the women are these hot babes dripping with sex. Just gets old after awhile. I do like the dog, Oberon. I really want to like this series! But alas, there are so many books to read...can't waste time on something I don't love. "
" Loved the latest adventure of Atticus & Oberon. Read this in one day. One of my favourite series. On the edge of my seat for "Hammered". "
" As usual, the second book of a series is generally not my fav. Was ok, still had the great humor, but wasn't quite as good as the first. "
" Audiobook ready by Luke Daniels. I really enjoyed the narration. This was book 2 in this new urban fantasy series and I really enjoyed it. There were many light moments that had me laughing and many action scenes. I really like the blend of urban fantasy and mythology in this series. "
" I just adore Oberon. The conversations between him and Atticus make me laugh out loud! "
" Easily my most favourite series in recent years. "
" only 20 pages in and Atticus has already been attacked twice! "
" I continue to enjoy the series and switched from Audio to eBook midway through so I could continue to read this on vacation. Another solid book that pushed me almost immediately into the next volume. "
" 2nd book didn't dissapoint. Love the main character Atticus. "
" I liked book 2 much better that book 1. Hopefully the next one is just as good. "
" A bit more shaggy dog than the first book, but still entertaining. Enjoying the series and looking forward to picking up the next one. "
" I love me some Atticus! The sequel was just as good as the first and delivered the same humor and action the first one did. I am waiting to see what shenanigans Atticus and Oberon get themselves in next! "
" I really liked the second in this series, the Iron Druid Chronicles. I liked the first book best, but this one was also a treat "
