"I received this book from Amazon by mistake a couple years ago & it's been sitting on my bookshelf ever since. Decided to take it on spring break and am so glad I did. I really enjoyed it & will definitely read other books by this author."

" This book for me is a 3.5 star. What does that mean? It means that it is a good book and I would recommend it. However, it was not overly original. The reason I did not give it four stars is because I was never suprised by what happened next. (I'm the type of person who NEVER figures out what is going on!) It was pretty straight forward. No brainer. I kept seeing this play out in my head like I was watching a movie. The only problem with that is I expect a little more from a book. With all of that being said, I would recommend the book I just wouldn't expect to be blown away. "

" Big fan of this Author's Graveyard Queen series. This book was totally not my cup of tea. I had to force myself to finish it. I thought it was draggy, I didn't like any of the characters, it had dead little children and the most action happened in the last 10 pages then it just ended. With hardly any resolutions. Can't recommend this book but try the author's others. "

" The Dollmaker wasn't an awful read. It was average. The story was interesting, but the execution of the story was extremely slow. Acually if the parts I scan through were removed, the book would have been a bit above average. "

" A decent quick read. It's pretty predictable and chock full of " N'awlins " cliches (crawfish, dixieland bands, voodoo, etc), but it was nice to read something that requires little thought after my finals were over. "

" I enjoyed The Restorer more. Still, this wasn't bad. I would have enjoyed it more if there had been more focus on solving the kidnapping; that felt very rushed at the end. There isn't a real feeling of closure. "
