"The Daughters series is one of the best that I have ever read!!!!! In this book I am shown how being famous can totally tear families apart...............though love can piece it back together. The true meaning of friends is all here, through relationships, fights, and being there when needed, these friends (Carina, Lizzie, and Hudson) are some of the best I have ever seen. Happy book I must say and always a suspenseful ending that makes you read the next book. No doubt it is 5 stars! You must read this book!"

" Eh...so so book about a rich daughter of a billionaire. her father cuts off her money supply, takes away her iphone and her limo and in return gives her an out of date cell, a subway pass and $20 weekly spending cash. I had no connection to this book, I've already forgotten the main characters name! The one thing I do remember is that it is super clean with one use of the word "shit." No references to sex and no drugs. A sweet romance with a skater boy DJ, who is from the wrong side (basically not rich) of the tracks redeems the book. This one is the second in a series. "

About Joanna Philbin
Joanna Philbin was born in Los Angeles and grew up in New York City. She is the daughter of television host Regis Philbin and started her first novel at the age of seven, but she only got as far as the second chapter. She went on to receive a BA from Brown University and an MFA from the University of Notre Dame. She now lives in Los Angeles, where she is working on a Poppy series set in the Hamptons.
