"I've been Listening to alot of historical fiction audiobooks lately because every audiobook you know has some sort of truth to it. In this case I learned about the massacre of a village in France. When I was listening to it It didnt even cross my mind that that actually happened, until I listened to the end notes and learned the truth. This Audiobook was beautifully put together and the women in the Audiobook showed their love for one another. Amanda's love for her children showed the whole way through, along with the love Lina had for everyone who helped her along the way. They all did what they had to do to survive the war"
