"It was very interesting to learn of Kate mosses different direction from the south of France to Amsterdam. I had never investigated dutch history and was totally brought in to it. This historical religious two countries novel is amazing at how easy it is to learn history when presented in this manner. I waited the narration less than the rest, because I found that there are not enough true men’s voices to the characters and sometimes, they all sound the same – feminine. I thoroughly enjoy the French accents and titles, and sometimes even songs and poetry. It makes a historical novel much more interesting. I look forward to more Kate Mosse historical fiction that I can find on audiobook store."
