"My kids and I LOVE the Chronicles of Prydain and these two books kick them off perfectly! There are so many quotes full of wisdom and we laugh out loud at Gurgi's shenanigans and the banter between Taran and Eilonwy. The narration is close to perfect with the only exception being the voice of Gwystyl. It was bothersome to listen to but worth the effort to get through those relatively brief parts. This series never disappoints and is worth visiting over and over!"

  • “Taran, the gallant Assistant Pig-keeper, and his companions once again fare forth to destroy the evil that threatens their beloved country, Prydain…A wise and wondrous tale written in epic fashion.”
