Publisher Description

When a cabin cruiser explodes and a series of deadly accidents follow, Quilleran and the cats set off for Breakfast Island to investigate. What could be the connection between the deaths and the proposed resort complex that has islanders, summer people, and mainland fishermen hopping mad? In search of a good story for his newspaper column, Qwill, Koko, and Yum Yum are on the case, which can only mean excitement for Cat Who... mystery fans.

"Qwill, Koko, and Yum Yum head out to Breakfast Island, which has been developed, much to Qwill's (and the native islanders!) dismay. But Nick has invited him out there to stay at his B&B so that he can explore the sabotage occurring around the island that has resulted in death and injury. With angry natives, rich summer homes, and tourists, there are a lot of potential leads. Only Koko can figure out the truth! The Cat Who formula is always a winner for a lighthearted, enjoyable read."

" I really enjoy this series...this is the third or fourth time I'm reading through the series but I have such a hard time with this book. I don't know why...the story line is familiar. But this book is very slow and boring. "

" Love these books! Characters remain the same and become familiar and comfortable to read about - like your own hometown characters! The books offer pure reading enjoyment - no heavy thinking, pondering - just reading for the pure pleasure of it! And I just LOVE the cats Koko and Yum Yum! "

" Library2Go Audiobook. Another fun "listen" featuring Mr. Q and his cats KoKo and Yum Yum. I particularly enjoyed this book because the descriptions of "Breakfast Island" sounded exactly like Mackinac Island, Michigan which I visited for the first time in June of 2010. Hope to return in the future. "
