Publisher Description

The port of Miami brings in millions of dollars’ worth of cocaine every year, and the Cartel controls eighty percent of it. The Diamond family is a force to be reckoned with, but all hell breaks loose when they lose their leader. The most ruthless gangster Miami has ever seen, Carter Diamond leaves behind a wife, twin sons, a daughter, and a secret—his illegitimate son, Carter Jones. When young Carter learns of his father’s death, he comes to town and is introduced to the legacy of the Cartel.

Miamor is a woman who uses her beauty to enhance her skill as a contract killer. She is the leader of the Murder Mamas. When her crew is hired to take down the Cartel, they slip up, and Miamor loses her sister in the process. She is determined to get revenge. Unknowingly, she meets the son of Carter Diamond—and he immediately catches her heart. She is sleeping with the enemy, and when she finds out, she is torn between love and revenge. Young Carter and Miamor lead two different lifestyles. They are on opposing teams, and when their worlds collide, the truth will be unveiled in an unpredictable ending.

"Let me start by saying I am not a huge fan of The Cartel series like most people. I loved the first book and I enjoyed the second book until the dream portion. As for the third installment it was just okay, but A&J really killed it for part 4. From the first page I was completely drawn in, never knowing what was going to happen next. They say blood is thicker than water, but blood doesn't always equal loyalty. Carter and Zyir are loyal to one another and they expect the same out of anyone in their crew. One crew member seems to have a different opinion all because he wants to be the one to sit on the throne as the leader of the infamous Cartel and he will stop at nothing to get that title. Cartel 4 was full of murder, sex, and drugs. Everytime I thought the situations were resolved, something else would happen. The way it ended there has got to be more because Diamonds are forever! I can't wait for part 5 La Bella Mafia, I know these chicks are going to bring it!"

" Finally finished. This book fell short for me. I thought this was only supposed to be a trilogy. This storyline has just gotten out of hand. Too many resurrections for me. the story is to be continued in The Cartel V: La Bella Mafia. I would like to give up on this series, but once I start something I like to finish. Maybe the next installment will be better. (please be better!) "
