From the Sunday Times bestseller comes a warm, tender and utterly hilarious story about love and betrayal
Love can sting. Or make you fly ...
Romance writer and single mum Stevie Honeywell has only weeks to go to her wedding when her fiancé Matthew runs off with her glamorous new friend Jo MacLean. It feels like history repeating itself for Stevie, but this time she is determined to win back her man. She isn't going to act as he might expect. She isn't going to wail and dig her heels in, she is simply going to pretend to let him go whilst she pursues a mad course of dieting, exercising and self-improvement.
And it feels like history is repeating itself for Adam MacLean too, who is also determined to win his lady, Jo, back with the same basic psychological tactics. Then he is going to initiate his master plan: Getting together with Stevie to drive Jo wild with jealousy.
So, like the Scottish country jig 'The Birds and the Bees', the couples all change partners and learn some revealing truths about each other along the way. But what happens when Adam's master plan actually starts to work? And just who will Stevie be dancing with when the music stops?

"My first book by Milly Johnson - and I thought it was funny and totally a good read for a rainy weekend. There is something about British books for women...the flow of the story, the language - just such a nice change from the North American girls in books. The main men too - this one was loud, obnoxious , Scottish brute of a man with a kind heart - Adam McLean or Damme McQueen!!! I laughed out loud reading parts of this book and though the story may be very formulaic - who cares. I look forward to reading other books by this author."

— Caroline, 2/9/2014" a comedy of errors that proved to be a courtship! "
— Just, 2/4/2014" I'm still a sucker for romance- and this story is funny in it's own way because of Adam and his thick Scottish accent, but a funny story all the same, I enjoyed reading it during my break. "
— Dora, 2/3/2014" It was cute. Took me awhile to get into, but enjoyable. "
— Jennifer, 2/1/2014" I love Milly Johnson books - her characters are so real and engaging. Although you know the outcome of whom is going to end up with who (and you'd be very disappointed if you were wrong)you have to keep reading to join in their journey. "
— Marie, 2/1/2014" Great light reading. "

— Emily, 1/16/2014" I wanted to like this, I really did, but after 150 pages I just can't do it. The main male character is just way to cliche for me. I can't get past picturing Paul Bunyan with a horrible Scottish accent. *shiver* "
— Eve, 1/9/2014" This book is cute one. 2 people found out that they are being cheated on, so they deal this in different way, one in denial, one trying to be sly and clever. I find this book quite amusing and easy to read. Which is good for summer reads. :) "
