"This is a sweet story of a woman who is dumped at her own dinner party and the aftermath of that dumping. The boyfriend comes back, but thankfully, she realizes that his crawling back wasn't enough. It wasn't what she wanted and she moves on. The open-ended ending makes me feel hopeful for her."

" If you like Chick-Lit, this is a good one. I really enjoy Sarah's writing style, it's easy and flows nicely. "
— Robin, 2/14/2014" This book made me laugh out loud! For all the CRAZY thoughts us woman have surrounding relationships this made me feel a little more "normal" "
— Ali, 2/12/2014" It was pretty good but I feel like I might have missed the point. "
— Julianne, 2/10/2014" Boring, uninteresting, vapid and shallow chic lit about a young woman dealing with the aftermath of a break up with her live in boyfriend. The characters were unappealing, the storyling very boring, and the writing mediocre. The only interesting aspect of the book is the main character's struggle with her strict Christian upbringing and how it relates to her current dating. "
— Liz, 1/24/2014" Easy beach read, but fairly predictable. "
— Courtney, 1/23/2014" I really liked this book. It was an easy read and the author hit on a lot of things that I saw in my own life. It's a great read if you aren't looking for anything too in-depth. Just something to lose yourself in. Great for a summer day at the beach! :) "
— Brandi, 1/21/2014" This is definitely a chick lit book. I read it probably as quickly as I read "He's Just Not That Into You" many years ago and really it seems to follow a lot of the same themes. I was an easy read and I have to admit, I enjoyed it. "
— Amanda, 1/10/2014" The synopsis on the back cover is better than what I read. I only made it to page 31...ugh. "

— Donna, 12/16/2013" Good book for a quick escape. Very Sex in the City-ish. The author's perspective was sometimes a creepy echo of thoughts that cross my own mind. "
— Miss, 12/15/2013" okay, it's not Tolstoy. but it is perfect summertime reading. delightful romantic comedy about a formerly evangelical Christian woman trying to make her way in the world of dating and sex while carrying around the baggage of her upbringing. "
— Judith, 12/13/2013" I picked up this book at Costco while on Easter Holiday! It was a good book, I kept waiting for something fabulous to happen. I did keep reading it, it held my interest. I liked the way it ended. It was the author's first book, I will probably read her next book, as well! "
— Jenna, 10/7/2013" It's a breezy, engaging readable bit of chick lit. Funny, clever, highly readable. Some funny observations along the way. But it's the lightest of light. I'd call it perfect beach reading or a nice way to wind down a tiring day. "
— Sylvie, 9/29/2013" this was a funny book. her writing is a little offbeat, and i enjoyed it because of the style. the ending was somewhat predictable, but a good read just the same. "

— Heather, 6/13/2011" Starts off okay then devolves into the worst kind of generic, cliche chick lit imaginable. "
— Very, 5/26/2011" There was nothing particularly interesting about this book for me. The writing was very casual, the story wasn't captivating and I didn't laugh. Oh well. At least it was an easy read. "
— Jane, 5/9/2011" This novel read like talking to my mom. The character would start out talking about one thing and than go off on a tangent. Very annoying. "
