I appreciated getting an insider's view on what it's like for a comedian to present offensive material they didn't write--as with her Britney Spears incident at the VMAs. "

" I love Sarah's comedy so I was really looking forward to this book. Unfortunately it was not all that great. There are some amusing anecdotes of stuff she has done with fellow comedians, and the rise of a stand-up comedian is itself an interesting story. Also she had some pretty wild stuff in her early life. But nearly every vignette was under-developed. She's get into something and then just let it end. This is especially weird since she is someone who constructs jokes for a living... "
