"These are really cute stories. I'm actually listening to them on audiobook and have been enjoying the narrator as well. These would be fun books to read aloud with kids, but I think some of the humor would be even funnier to adults as they get a glimse into the logic of a spunky eight year old. "

" Very nearly as good as Ramona! The first-person narrative makes it a little less genuine, and there are a few language affectations that might get a little tiresome after a couple books, but Clementine is a great character. I've already read some aloud to one of my students, and she loved it. "

" Great humor for adults and kids--it would work as a read-aloud to any class from 1st - 3rd grade. One of many in the series about the girl named after a fruit. She's the new Ramona Quimby. "

" She is a house-hold name around our home. Alyssa rates all funny books in comparison to Clementine. Kayte will only call her baby brother 'Coconut' (I swear she wasn't listening.. but the similarities are too strong). Laugh-out-loud. We loved it. "
