Chase Ryan and Keith Ellison set out to change the world with their films—and they are finally seeing their dreams come true. The dedicated producers are deep in negotiations with America’s top young movie star to play the lead in their next inspirational movie. But life takes a sudden turn for Chase, removing him from Jeremiah Productions permanently. In the process, Keith brings on one of the Baxter family members and the moviemaking continues. At the same time, a crisis hits Keith’s daughter, Andi, and Keith feels helpless to respond. Devastated by the consequences of her wrong actions, Andi ventures out on her own and decides on a course of action that could destroy her. Meanwhile, Bailey Flanigan is caught up in her own drama with Cody Coleman. A Campus Crusade retreat gives them time alone along the shores of Lake Monroe and lets them face a possibility they’ve avoided for years. Will Keith keep the passion he had at the start of his filmmaking—and will there be enough passion left over for his hurting daughter? Or has their quest to change American culture become nothing more than a quest for fame?

"I was among those concerned at some of the choices made by a certain character in the previous book and how those were left without consequences. You may rest assured that they are very well addressed in this novel in a realistic but tasteful way. There was a lot of character development and movement in this novel which kept it moving and not too predictable. The ending was completely satisfying. And I must admit it wasn't the story itself over which I cried -- it was at different points in Karen's wonderful dedication to her family at the beginning!"

" Finally! That's what you'll be saying when things finally work out for Bailey and Cody...but of course you know it's gonna be even more trials for them before I'm sure they can get married. I can't wait for the next one to come out! I love the redemoption and forgiveness that Andi gets from those around her and can't wait to see how the movie goes. Chase leaving the company was a surprise, so I wonder if he will still be in the next book since The Ellis family moved to Bloomington. Can't wait for June 22nd "
— Jennifer, 2/8/2014" I really wish Cody and Bailey would work this out already, lol. It is amazing to know that prayer can and really does work in the way that it was depicted. We must simply believe just like KK's characters. Another great Story Mrs. Kingsbury!!!! "
— Danita, 2/1/2014" I have never read a Karen Kingsbury book that I didn't like. This one is the 3rd book in a 4 book series. After reading book 2 I was hesitant to read book 3 because I was worried about what direction the story was going to go. I waited for almost a year and a half between book 2 and 3.....for no reason! The story didn't go the way I thought it was going to and I am so glad! Starting #4 tonight :) "
— Amy, 1/31/2014" You would think that after reading so many books in the same series (this is #17)things would get a little boring. Absolutely not!! Kingsbury is a GREAT writer. I can't wait to get into the LAST book of this series (#18). Can't wait to see what will finally happen with Bailey and Cody!!!!!! "
— Charlotte, 1/24/2014" I love how the author dealt with these hard yet real subjects (unplanned pregnancy, lust, marriages being torn apart). "
— Maleah, 1/5/2014" Oops! I may have seen what was coming for Chase in the last one... "
— Jan, 11/18/2013" THAT NO MATTER HOW MUCH I STRAY, GOD IS THE SAME TODAY, TOMORROW AND FOREVER. HE IS WAITING FOR ME TO TURN BACK TO HIM. "

— Natalia, 10/11/2013" As with all Karen Kingsbury books I loved this one. I felt this series started slow in Take One, got better in Take Two and I couldn't put Take Three down. Can't wait to read Take Four, they left you hanging on several aspects!! "
— Leigh, 9/23/2013" I enjoyed this book just as I have all others written by Karen Kingsbury. She writes about realistic families with realistic problems and goals. Her emphasis on the Savior and use of scriptures is an added plus. "
— Janet, 9/1/2013" I wish I could give a 4.5 stars... I really liked this book, but it wasn't my favorite from Karen Kingsbury. I enjoy the storyline about Bailey... but the whole story with Andi seemed predictable... Sometimes I feel like it is the same story with different characters over and over. "

— Carrie, 4/17/2013" The third book in the Above the Line series. I enjoy this series, although I'm not a usual consumer of christian fiction. "
— Diane, 4/3/2013" Another great book from Karen Kingsbury. I am a huge fan of the Cody -Bailey storyline. It is an escape into a world that I could only hope to find myself in a dream. To be surrounded like that with family and friends is a huge gift - one I thought I had found but my reality is so much more messy. "
— Kelly, 12/23/2012" Above the Line Series, Book 3 "
— Mackenzie, 11/7/2012" I got goosebumps the moment Bailey actually kissed Cody. "

— Kati, 8/3/2011" I Kindled this book as soon as I finished Take Two, because I was really enjoying the characters. I read the first ten chapters in the first night, if that gives you an indication as to how well I'm enjoying this installment! "
— Laura, 5/18/2011" Much more upbeat than Take Two. Can't wait to read the next one. "
— Lori, 3/3/2011" Karen Kingsbury delivers once again. Great stuff! "
— Jerry, 1/23/2011" This book was better than the first ones in the series. I like all the emotion Kingsbury puts in her books, but she drags things out so long I start to get bored. In this book she stepped up the pace, and I liked it much better. "
