Barbara Parker, a former prosecutor with the state attorney’s office in Dade County, Florida, is the author of numerous mysteries, including Suspicion of Innocence, which was a finalist for the 1995 Edgar Allan Poe Award for Best First Novel by an American author. She lives in South Florida.
