Baron Munchausen recounts his entertaining tall-tale adventures to his friends. His adventures in Volume I include: a big storm, a battle against a lion and crocodile, his amazing marksmanship, hunting conquests, an insane cloak, amazing feats on an extraordinary horse, time spent as a prisoner of war and slave, a trip to North America and one to Constantinople, the rescuing of a woman, journeys to the moon, among others. Volume II tells of the Baron's preparations for a trip to Africa and the host of adventures he encounters there. He then continues on with his travels - England, North America, Russia. Each of the Baron's tales are more fanciful than the last.
