About the Author

Norma L. Jarrett is a speaker and the Essence bestselling author of the novels Sunday Brunch, Sweet Magnolia, and The Sunday Brunch Diaries. Her work has gained attention in Gospel Today, Ebony, Southern Living, Upscale, USA Today, Gospel Truth, Black Expressions, Publisher’s Weekly, and other publications. Norma has been a guest on ABC 13’s Crossroads, as well as The Yolanda Adams Morning at 102 KMJQ, 97.9 The Box, and V103. Among other honors, Ms. Jarrett has received a Certificate of Congressional Recognition for her literary work.

About the Narrator

Sharon Washington is a critically acclaimed actress, whose performances have been called “Sensational … A breakout … Ferociously funny” by the New York Times. Notable theater credits include “The Lady” in the Broadway musical The Scottsboro Boys; Lady Anne, alongside Denzel Washington, in the New York Shakespeare Festival’s Richard III; and Valeria, alongside Christopher Walken, in Coriolanus. She is a graduate of Darmouth College and received her MFA from Yale School of Drama.
