I look like an all-American grad student. But I am a werecat, a shape-shifter, and I live in two worlds.

Despite reservations from my family and my Pride, I escaped the pressure to continue my species and carved out a normal life for myself. Until the night a Stray attacked.

I'd been warned about Strays (werecats without a Pride) that are constantly on the lookout for someone like me: attractive, female, and fertile. I fought him off, but then learned two of my fellow tabbies had disappeared.

This brush with danger was all my Pride needed to summon me back for my own protection. Yeah, right. But I'm no meek kitty. I'll take on whatever and whoever I have to in order to find my friends. Watch out, Strays, 'cause I got claws, and I'm not afraid to use them. Download and start listening now!

" A strong tough female lead character and an interesting storyline. "

" I had heard that this book was kind of bloated so I was expecting a lot of writing that really didn't have much to do with anything. I was pleasantly surprised, this was an excellent book and the only time I ever thought it was long winded was when I was super anxious to find out what happened next. The writing was great, the detail really helped to build the world and the characters. I am glad it's part of such a long series, I cannot wait to read the others. "

" Um, can someone say 'fan fiction'? I felt like I was just reading 'Bitten' by Kelley Armstrong again (which really isn't a bad thing). Because this book was not original -at all- I wanted to give it four stars, but... Well... I loved it. I couldn't put it down and I bought the sequels. "

" A really great book! It wasn't like anything I've readen before, and I liked how it was a bit different. Faythe was an awesome heroine, and I couldn't help but laugh at some of the things she said or thought.
I'll have to read the second book - and very soon! "
