Publisher Description

When Jonathan Kechter agrees to a blind date with Cole Fenton, he expects nothing more than dinner and a onenight stand... but he gets more than he bargained for in Cole. Cole is arrogant, flamboyant, and definitely not Jon's type. Still, when Cole suggests an arrangement of getting together for casual sex whenever they're both in town, Jon readily agrees. Their arrangement may be casual, but Jonathan soon learns that when it comes to Cole Fenton, nothing is easy. Between Cole's fear of intimacy and his wandering lifestyle, Jonathan wonders if their relationship may be doomed from the start - but the more Cole pushes him away, the more determined Jon is to make it work.

"After reading Strawberries for Dessert, I take back my previous assessment of Promises being the best book in the Coda series. This book was absolutely FABULOUS!! Oh my goodness, there is love, passion, pain, deception - an emotional roller coaster that will have you laughing and crying (never in a bad way) at the same time. If I could rate Strawberries for Dessert a 10/10, I would in a heartbeat. This is the BEST M/M romance I read in a long time. BRAVO, Marie! :)"

" I know I will be in the minority here but honestly I was bored and aggravated by this one. It was painfully slow with little character development. The first two books really dug in and you got to knows Jared, Matt, Zach and Angelo and what drew them together. In this one, it was just a superficial glance at their lives and their issues. I still don't really see what it was that that attracted the two of them to each other. I actually had to force myself to finish it. At least the ending was done well. "

" Awesome! The only part I didn't like was how idiotic Cole could be (near the end, with the waiting for Jonathan to come to him). Sheesh. It made me angry. I do love Cole though. A LOT! He's original and adorable! "

" A charming, well written contemporary with great characterization and a satisfying arc to story. (plus some hot sex). This sort of thing is what I'm looking for in contemporary M/M. "

" good sweet creative. the beginning was almost too convincing of their incompatibilty, i would have liked a deeper glimpse into coles pain, but i also like the last minute reveal, turn around. i liked the growthinthecharacters and the humor. good. sweet. requires patience. "
