About the Authors

Joe Satriani, an instrumental rock guitarist and multi-instrumentalist, has sold more ten million albums worldwide. Early in his career, Joe worked as a guitar instructor. Many of his former students have achieved fame, including Steve Vai, Larry LaLonde, Rick Hunot, and Kirk Hammett. A multiple Grammy Award nominee, Joe is also a core member of the supergroup Chickenfoot.

Jake Brown is an award-winning Nashville based music biographer of over 40 books including authorized collaborations including Joe Satriani, Heart, Moorhead, 2Pac, and author of the trademarked “In the Studio” book series (Rick Rubin, ACDC), the Nashville Songwriter book series and others including Beyond the Beats, HIP HOP HITS and Behind the Boards.
