From #1 New York Times bestselling author Tami Hoag comes this powerful novel of passion, heartbreak, and redemption—a story that celebrates our capacity to love one time, for all time, even in the face of adversity and change. They say that each of us becomes an entirely new person every seven years. But Rebecca Bradshaw doesn’t feel any different when an old lover shows up severely injured at the hospital where she runs the physical therapy department. Seven years ago baseball player Jace Cooper left her without a second thought or the chance to share the life-changing secret she swore she’d keep from him forever. Now he was back, wanting both her help and a second chance. Becca hadn’t changed, and she didn’t believe Jace had either, but as she helped him repair his broken body and his fractured past, she would find she was wrong on both counts. The only thing that had stayed the same was the most important thing of all—and now suddenly time was running out.

"Typical guy leaves girl, then realizes he messed up. Girl won't take him back, kind of book. However, it was a short read and cute. Lots of interesting characters. Not a book I would read again, but liked it none the less."

" It was a good quick read... "
— Heidi, 2/9/2014" This was a quick read, and an enjoyable romance. Nice story line with a baseball player hunk at the center of the story. "
— Annette, 1/17/2014" It was OK. A bit too mushy for me. "
— Lena, 1/7/2014" Found myself skimming the pages rather quickly. It's okay if you want something to read you really don't have to think about too much. "
— Kevin, 1/5/2014" Somewhat predictable, easy to read love story. I like how Hoag incorporates her other stories/interests into her books. "
— Marie, 1/3/2014" This was "too light"...I just didn't get into this one. "
— Denice, 12/29/2013" This book was a good fast read romance novel. It was enjoyable without much depth. "
— Judy, 12/21/2013" 3.5* Enjoyable fast read. Think series romance and you'll have the idea of length and character development. This is not a Hoag suspense story. It is strictly a light romance. However, Hoag succeeds in getting a lot of character development into the short book making it a satisfying read. "
— Carrie, 12/11/2013" This was a pretty sweet book for an older romance book. Rebecca and Jase were fun, and I loved the history that they had and how they overcame everything. Rebecca's father was funny with all of his tinkering and robotics. "
— Darcy, 11/25/2013" that was good...cheesy, but good. LOL "
— Jessica, 11/10/2013" Look for "The alibi Man" "
— Guylene, 1/11/2013" This is an early romance from mystery writer Tami Hoag. Physical therapist, Rebecca Brashaw and pro-baseball player Jace Cooper are the characters. Nothing special, quick and predictable. Hoag's mysteries are much, much better. "
— Jeanne, 9/10/2012" This was a very quick, light read therefore I would recommend it if you like those types. A very sweet and simple love story. "
— Kindlehooked, 9/7/2012" I like Tami Hoag's mystery novels so I thought I'd give this romance one a try. Unfortunately it was too sappy, predictable and full of metaphors for me. "
— Kathleen, 6/19/2012" One of the authors that I always read when I find one of her books, but I enjoy the suspense novels better. "
— Tammi, 5/26/2012" I'm always drawn to a story of old love that resurrects itself into new and shining love. This story does not disappoint me. Tami Hoag knows how to lead us through the rollercoaster known as love. "
— Carol, 5/2/2012" I enjoyed this book. Baseball and romance, what more could I ask for in a book. "
— Wendy, 3/12/2012" Another fast fun read by Hoag. "
— Breezy, 2/1/2012" I like Tami Hoag's mysteries, but not a big fan of this book. It was very predictable and repetitious to the point of almost being monotonous. "
— Judy, 12/5/2011" Not that great, from the first few pages you knew what was going to happen. Too many love scenes in the last half - that's all it was at the end was sex scene after sex scene. "
— Nicole, 11/27/2011" This was a quick read, and an enjoyable romance. Nice story line with a baseball player hunk at the center of the story. "
— Annette, 7/24/2010" This was a pretty sweet book for an older romance book. Rebecca and Jase were fun, and I loved the history that they had and how they overcame everything. Rebecca's father was funny with all of his tinkering and robotics. "
