"This is an Extended Universe story about Luke's continued battle with Emperor Palpatine and his journey to the Dark Side. It's pretty decent."

" The art work is fun, especially since I like the whole spectrum of shades between green and purple, but the story is pretty stupid. "

" Better to listen to then to try and make it through this abortion of a star wars story. "

" A good supplement to the story of Luke & his fall to the dark side. This story and its predecessor fill the gap in the SW EU between the birth of the Solo twins and the birth of Anakin Solo. Decent, not great, but worth a look by SW fans reading the complete SW timeline. "

" The art was even worse than the 1st one. My 9 year old draws better than these artists. "

" Pretty good story line. Didn't really care for the artwork, but that's just a personal opinion. I was a little disappointed in one of the Jedi that was killed off very quickly. Would have liked to see more of a relationship develop between that character and Luke, but oh well. "

" This graphic novel started out stronger than Dark Empire I, but slowly devolved into more of the same. My biggest complaint here was that the authors kept adding new characters and then promptly killing them off. Didn't they learn anything from watching "Alien 3?" Sheesh. "

" I only picked up Dark Empire because several sources seemed to concur that its plot was a major part of the Expanded Universe. Now, after having finished I and II, I'm just counting them as another nail in the coffin on non-Timothy Zahn Star Wars literature. "
