"This is a classic pre-TV story just like the radio shows from the 40's and 50's. There are a few non PC (politically correct) descriptions of Asians here and there. The action and the narrator had me hooked. Great listen with sound effects and all! It was a blast from the past."

" Told as if in a 1930's spy movie, Spy Killer by L. Ron Hubbard is full of espionage and intrigue. Killers and spies are not who they seem, the locations are exotic, the men are strong and resourceful and the women, beautiful yet cunning. Historical notes are in included in the back of this fast-paced-action pulp fiction novelette. Thanks to Galaxy Press for this free re-release of this book. "
— Jackie, 2/19/2014" Not my kind of story...too much of a sensation/thriller/action plot. This was free as an audiobook from Audible. "
— Patricia, 2/12/2014" Reprinted from the April 1936 issue of Five-Novels Monthly, by Ron Hubbard. This was a short novel, but a fast read and full of action. I enjoyed the story and will look for more by this author. I would recommend this book to anyone that enjoys mysteries. "
— Violet, 2/3/2014" I love audio books....This was kind of exciting but i really had to pay attention. I like action but i was confused from time to time by who was who! It was ok "

— Rebekah, 12/16/2012" Pretty good though it lacked the poetry and viceral magic of the masters, like ERB and Robert E. Howard, it's still a fast paced tale worth checking out if you like pulp fiction! "
— Frank, 10/26/2011" A nice pulp escape story! "
— Jim, 4/11/2011" Mediocre pulp adventure. Hubbard obviously didn't know much about the China of his time. "
— Rainer, 4/4/2011" The title was interesting enough but storyline didn't captivate my attention for too long; I eventually finished this short story in two days. "
— Hong, 2/13/2011" What a page turner! I was on the edge of my seat the whole time. The master storyteller, LRH strikes again! A must read!! "
— Anthony, 1/13/2011" World War II. Spies and intrique. This isn't a big book, and it's somewhat old-fashioned, but I found it a good read. Two women and a man on the run, dodging the Chinese and the Japanese, and only one of them knows why. "
— Linda, 1/2/2011" Pretty good though it lacked the poetry and viceral magic of the masters, like ERB and Robert E. Howard, it's still a fast paced tale worth checking out if you like pulp fiction! "
— Frank, 10/28/2008L. Ron Hubbard (1911–1986), with nineteen New York Times bestsellers and more than 230 million copies of his works in circulation, was among the most acclaimed and widely read authors of the twentieth century. As a leading light of American pulp fiction through the 1930s and 1940s, he was further among the most influential authors of the modern age. Indeed, from Ray Bradbury to Stephen King, there is scarcely a master of imaginative tales who has not paid tribute to him.
