Publisher Description

The first book in the popular Spy High series. Follow the fast-paced action adventure of six kids as they are thrown into Deveraux Academy, an underground training ground for young secret agents. They can hack any computer, break any code, take out bad guys with SleepShot from two hundred metres, and vanish utterly without trace. The one thing Bond Team haven't got their heads around is, er, bonding. Jake and Ben want to kill each other, Jen thinks Lori is an airhead bimbo, and the only thing Eddie respects about Cally is her butt. All this is very bad news. Because if they don't get it together for their first term exams, if they can't defeat the infamous Stromfeld Programme, then they can forget about ever graduating Spy High. And with a mind-wipe greeting all those who flunk out, we mean that quite literally. Let the lessons begin.

"Pretty good spy book. I found it a little tough at the beginning, but it gradually got better. Cheesy ending though. I thought it didn't take much to bring together Jake + Ben even though they're polar opposites. Kinda a let down, but I'm about to read the next book."

" I have decided to try and read a fraction of the books that Spencer enjoys. Plus, teen fiction is generally fun and fast reading. This is one that caught Spencer's attention and now I am enjoying the series as well. "

" If I could give this book zero stars I would. I couldn't even finish reading it, which is saying a lot for me. I read anything. I just go so bored I couldn't keep going. I felt like I was walking in Molasses trying to get to the point of the book. It was fairly cliche and the writing at some parts was just annoying. But to each his own, some people may like it, but I wouldn't dust a spot on my shelf for this book. "

" I got this book a while ago and never really erad it until now. It was interesting at parts but lacked the action i had hoped for. It is a good book if you like books that are mystery solving style. I would recommend reading it. "

" Ok, seriously, this book is a disgrace to English young adult literature. Total garbage, albeit with a mildly entertaining plot (but only due to the fact that I was trapped on a cylindrical tube miles above sea level and all the movies were atrocious). "
